At the RuPaul’s Drag Race Season 2 Finale Party at Therapy in Midtown Manhattan. Sahara Davenport hosted the Finale Party where we all watched the last episode then Logo presented Tyra Sanchez with a $25,000 check. Somehow we managed to get seated in the VIP section…so I was the ultimate Drag Hag on this night!! There were live performances by Tyra Sanchez, Raven, Jujubee, Sahara Davenport and Pandora Box. We sat down backstage and talked with Sahara Davenport and Jujubee to find out what is next for them. A very special thanks to Sahara for getting me in the place to be and to Sahara’s twin sister Deja Davenport for shooting my interviews.

Gay Bingo

Who doesn’t love supporting a good cause. We went to Gay Bingo hosted by the Resource Center Dallas. The theme was pageant bingo! I never could string enough numbers together to win but the people and organizations who benefit from the money raised by Gay Bingo are the real winners. The theme changes every month so gather your friends and all your lucky charms and hit up the next one.

Gaybingo is every third Saturday (except April and December) in The Rose Room at S4, 3911 Cedar Springs, Dallas 75219 — in the heart of Oak Lawn. Doors open at 5PM. Games start at 6PM. Pre-sold tickets get first entry when the doors open.

2010 Let’s do it!!

Okay so I don’t do new years resolutions. I have tried in the past and never seem to stick with them past February. So I just make resolutions as they come up in my life. If I need to work on being more organized, eat less sweets (ha!), drink more water, keep track of my receipts or whatever…I do it when it comes up. If I waited until December to make necessary changes then my life would be total chaos. So instead of new year’s resolutions, I just get myself amped up for what I think that year will bring. For me 2009 was a year of heavy grinding and working hard towards specific goals. I still have much more grustling (grinding + hustling) to do but I feel 2010 will be a year when some of the harvest of hard work will be reaped. I know tons of people who are movin’ and shakin’ and will see many of their goals reached this year. So I say let us all “do the damn thang” and make twenty ten the beginning of greatness. My plans are to really get Q-roc rolling (hopefully you will help by watching and spreading the word) and complete a multi-disciplinary arts piece I am working on. I also want to be able to walk on my hands for at least 8 steps. (right now I can do two and a half)

What are your plans for 2010 and what goals have you set for yourself? Maybe we can help eachother reach them….family has to support family!!! Holla back!
