Anyone who knows me knows my love of music…especially good music. I met Skim back when I first started filming my documentary on Masculine Identified Lesbians “Excuse Me Sir.” We’ve been cool ever since. I drove to Austin, TX to check her out in the Mangos with Chillies Performance Tour. This is us hanging out and a clip of Skim performing in Los Angeles in 2007 at a leadership conference. You will never guess who is compelled to come dance with her onstage…you might recognize him from the Matrix Trilogy. Oh and after his acting he also know for being a pretty intelligent dude.
Skim’s first album For Every Tear is extremely fresh. I have a real fondness for artists with unique deliveries and great lyricism.
